Since 1999 Vince has worked at several running specialty running stores around the country. Having both the personal experience of fitting thousands of runners, coupled with learning from some of the industry’s most seasoned experts, Vince has acquired extensive knowledge on running mechanics and running specific footwear. As the owner and shoe buyer for Run Flagstaff, Vince is on top of the latest trends and products in specialty running. Vince also spends a fair portion of his time coaching for Team Run Flagstaff and the online based Run SMART Project.
When she’s not helping fit people for shoes, ordering up some sweet new Run Flagstaff apparel or teaching yoga at Northern AZ Yoga Center, you can find Sarah out on the trails with her dogs Baxter, Lucy, and P-Nut.
Nick graduated from Cal State University, Fullerton with a degree in accounting. Nick is a highly accomplished marathoner, to find out more we simply ask you to google this information as there are too many stats to list. Nick considers himself a certified super hero/star wars nerd, and can be found in various garb at the different Run Flagstaff events. He is our accounting whiz, and is a pro at getting people fit up in the right shoe.
Nick has been obsessed with running shoes for longer than he cares to share. He first discovered this passion running and racing in the great state of Pennsylvania, where he was born and raised. He spent his adolescence running and studying history, and wanted to use those hard earned analytical skills to help the masses obtain a more ideal running experience. Nick moved to Flagstaff in September of 2012 and fell in love with the community, and the endless trails that Flag has to offer. His favorite part about Flagstaff is, without a doubt, the running community and the incredible positivity that oozes from it. He wants to continue his running education to best serve the needs of Flagstaff’s running population, while continuing to explore the many paths that Northern Arizona has to offer.
Kiya Dandena, Originally from Debre Zeit, Ethiopia, now lives in Flagstaff, AZ. Graduated from Texas A&M Kingsville in 2012 with Psychology and Sociology. Kiya enjoys spending time with friends and family, and loves cooking and trying new and exciting foods. He has worked at Texas Running Company in Sugar Land, TX as an assistant manager for over two years and now taking his talent to Run Flagstaff to help you and others achieve their goals in running.
Shelly is a long time resident of Flagstaff. “I am inspired daily by our customers and my coworkers. Flagstaff’s running community is incredibly diverse and supportive. I am humbled to be part of it.” When Shelly’s not running or hiking, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son. Shelly also pursues artistic endeavors, such as sewing and painting when time allows.
Andrew grew up in the small town of Ravenswood, West Virginia, and later graduated from the University of Richmond (VA) with a degree in Psychology. He has spent the past several years working with special needs kids, coaching, and running around a bit. Andrew keeps a busy schedule outside of Run Flagstaff; he currently is a Transition Mentor for the Transition from School to Work Program at Coconino High School, where he also serves as the Head Track and Cross Country Coach. Like most Flagtaff residents he enjoys all types of running, but tends to favor the seemingly endless networks of mountain trails that Flag has to offer.
